About Us
Fairy Tale Marionettes...
is a traveling musical marionette troupe based in New York City. We perform at local festivals, private parties, and in the parks.

Arlee Chadwick has performed for kids all over the world. Most recently, Arlee wrapped up production as a principal cast member of the off-Broadway production of That Golden Girls Show - A Puppet Parody, performing as "Rose." Prior to this, she performed as the puppet "Dorsal" with John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean. She has pulled strings as a resident company member at Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre in Central Park and with the Puppet Mobile. She has appeared at the Bronx Zoo with Boo at the Zoo! Tales of Amazing Tricksters with director Noel MacNeal and in the world premiere of Noel MacNeal's Mouse King. She has appeared as a puppeteer in first national tours of The Little Prince, My Little Pony Live! and Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train Live! She has helped many muppets with their dance moves on Sesame Street Live. As a dancer, she appeared in productions of Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Footloose, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, and Go, Dog. Go!

Katharine Kaspar first performed with puppets on her public access show Missing Kitten TV. She learned the art of marionette puppetry while working at the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater in Central Park. Katharine and Arlee designed and built the marionettes and backdrops for the Fairy Tale Marionette troupe. Katharine has curated and promoted art shows and other creative events at various venues across NYC. She has also produced multiple television shows for public access television, featuring music, art, and puppetry.
